    Preferred Materials & Fibres

    All materials take from our planet, but some are more sustainable than others. 

    We are committed to creating from the most sustainable material and fibres we can source whilst staying true to the premium quality our tribe have come to expect and love. 

    For the love of our Earth, we are committed to using organic cotton over conventional cotton wherever possible.  When it's not possible to use organic cotton we hope our timeless designs will encourage slow fashion practices to provide the maximum longevity of each lovingly created item.

    Reasons Why We love Organic Cotton

    • Non-Genetically Modified: Good for the planet and farmers are not unethically bound to GM multinationals.
    • Farmers work with nature rather than against it. Organic cotton is grown as part of a balanced ecosystem, resulting in healthy soils and strengthened biodiversity.
    • No chemical nasties in the form of fertilisers and pesticides are allowed, so no toxins poisoning the earth, the farmers and ourselves.
    • With only a quarter of the environmental impact compared to conventional cotton, we prefer organic. Organic has a 60% reduction in Greenhouse Gas emissions, so doing its part to fight climate change.
    • The highest international social and environmental criteria are met during the processing and manufacturing stages. No hazardous chemicals are used and all waste water needs to be treated. This is great for the planet and all beings who live on it.
